Guest Lectures

Have Steve present his keynote on the Five Principles Consistent to Great Peacemakers or ask him to prepare a lecture on a topic of your choice. Steve will support his discussion with anecdotes, quotes, and themes from peacemaker biographies.

Steve has spent over a decade studying the biographies of three dozen great peacemakers. While studying these luminaries, Steve has strived to find principles common to all, or most, of the peacemakers. His keynote address offers insights into  these principles that all of us can incorporate to help elevate our collective welfare and make the world a more peaceful place.

You can request Steve to deliver his keynote tailored to your group. Alternately, you can brainstorm with him on a specific topic of your choosing.

Perhaps you are interested in an artful and engaging presentation on the abolition of slavery, the battle for women’s suffrage, or the fascinating evolution of the ecological movement.

Or maybe you’re interested in teaching your students the importance of seeing multiple perspectives. How about exposing them to Gandhi’s avowed adherence to anekantavada (many-sidedness)?

The Great Peacemakers project constitutes a treasure trove to draw from in presenting topics to your students in entertaining and inspiring ways.

Each banner includes:

• a brief peacemaker biography
• an inspirational quote
• a description of the symbolism found in each painting
• a QR Code directing visitors to videos of the production of the painting with anecdotal information about the respective peacemaker

Visitors also develop an understanding of how individual peacemakers influenced subsequent peacemakers.
