Collaboration Opportunities

Team Up with Artist Steve Simon

Let Your Imagination Run Wild!

Steve is actively looking for creative-minded people to collaborate with. Perhaps you are an educator who sees the potential for creating a new curriculum using the material in this collection.

Or perhaps you are a filmmaker who is interested in leveraging your storytelling skills to bring the compelling narrative of The Great Peacemakers to light.

Regardless of your idea, whatever creative whim you might have to collaborate with Steve in helping to bend the arc toward peace, he is interested in hearing from you.

Designing a Curriculum

Steve’s paintings, writings, and videos offer a large wellspring of material. Steve, however, lacks the understanding educators have in identifying the most relevant educational needs and how to address these through a marketable curriculum.

If you are a social studies teacher or a social studies/history professor with an entrepreneurial streak and are interested in collaborating with Steve in this regard, he would love to brainstorm with you!

Steve is currently writing a book featuring his paintings and research entitled The Art of Peace. Each chapter presents one of The Great Peacemakers’ lives and highlights a specific virtue exemplified by the given biography. As such, the book presents an inspirational chronology of luminaries who have changed the world in a prosocial manner while also offering balanced, secular lessons on ethics and morality.

The book could potentially serve as an anchor text for a new curriculum or the content could be repurposed and presented differently.

Film Production

Steve is particularly interested in using art, especially visual storytelling, to educate and entertain audiences with the expressed purpose of inspiring action to facilitate peace and well-being.

During the creation of this art collection, Steve captured video of the painting process for all of the art.  This vault of B-Roll footage is available for use.

Due to the breadth of the collection, there are a variety of narratives a filmmaker may be inspired to explore. If you have some creative ideas, Steve would love to hear from you!
